When you head out on the road, the connection between you and your bike is crucial for your performance. These pedals combine advanced materials with a well-thought-out design that caters to serious cyclists who don't want to compromise on equipment.

Target audience for these advanced road pedals

ACID CLICK ROAD P30 KEO Compatible Pedals are specifically developed for road riders seeking a reliable clipless pedal for training and competition. Whether you are an enthusiastic fitness rider just starting to ride with clipless pedals or an experienced rider participating in sanctioned races, you will feel a significant difference. The product is designed to handle a system weight of up to 120 kg, making it a robust choice for a wide range of cyclists who value safety and precision in their pedal stroke.

Optimal use of ACID CLICK ROAD P30 KEO Compatible Pedals

The use of these pedals is focused on the asphalt. ACID CLICK ROAD P30 KEO Compatible Pedals are ideal for everything from short, intense interval training to very long Sunday rides in hilly terrain. Thanks to the compatible KEO system, it's easy to find spare parts and cleats everywhere. The pedals perform at their best when paired with a pair of stiff cycling shoes, where the wide contact surface truly comes into its own by distributing pressure evenly across the foot, reducing the risk of 'hot spots' on long distances.

Value creation and technical superiority on the road

Why should you choose ACID CLICK ROAD P30 KEO Compatible Pedals specifically? The answer lies in the detail and the technical execution. By integrating a stainless steel wear plate on the pedal body itself, the manufacturer has ensured that the pedal does not wear down from the friction of the cleat. This significantly extends the product's lifespan compared to cheaper alternatives in pure plastic. The CNC-machined axle in chrome-molybdenum steel (Cr-Mo) provides unsurpassed strength, while the combination of needle bearings and sealed industrial bearings ensures that the pedals rotate freely with minimal resistance mile after mile.

Quality materials in ACID CLICK ROAD P30 KEO Compatible Pedals

One of the major advantages of ACID CLICK ROAD P30 KEO Compatible Pedals is the ability to adjust the spring tension. This means you can decide for yourself how firmly you are clipped in and how much force is required to clip out. For the beginner, a looser setting provides security, while the experienced rider can tighten the system for maximum power transfer during sprints. With a weight of just 278 grams per set, these road pedals help keep your bike's total weight down without sacrificing durability or stiffness.

Which cleats fit ACID Click Road P30 pedals?

ACID CLICK ROAD P30 pedals are fully compatible with the Look KEO cleat system, which is one of the most widespread and recognized standards in modern road cycling. When you purchase this pedal set, a complete set of cleats is included, ready for mounting on your cycling shoes. These included cleats offer rotational freedom, also known as float, of 4.5 degrees. This amount of float is ideal for most riders, as it allows the foot to move naturally a little during the pedal stroke, which can help prevent overuse injuries in knees and joints on long bike rides. It is important to note that while some sources also mention compatibility with SPD-SL, it is primarily the Look KEO standard that the pedals are optimized for to ensure the most precise power transfer and the highest safety during use. By using a dedicated clipless system like this, you ensure that the foot is always positioned correctly over the pedal axle, which significantly optimizes your pedaling efficiency compared to traditional flat pedals. The system is designed to provide quick and intuitive entry and exit, increasing the rider's confidence in both traffic and during high-intensity training sessions in varied terrain.

What materials are ACID Click Road P30 pedals made of?

Durability and low weight have been the primary focus areas in the choice of materials for the ACID CLICK ROAD P30 pedals. The pedal body itself is constructed from an advanced fiberglass-reinforced composite, which provides an extremely strong and stiff structure while keeping weight to a minimum. To protect this composite body from the constant wear from cleats during use, the pedals are equipped with an integrated stainless steel wear plate on the contact surface itself. This steel plate ensures a longer lifespan for the product and maintains a stable interface between shoe and pedal over many thousands of kilometers. The heart of the pedal consists of a durable and precision-manufactured CNC-machined Cr-Mo (chrome-molybdenum) steel axle that can withstand the high loads generated by powerful pedaling. To ensure silky-smooth rotation and minimal maintenance, the pedals are equipped with an advanced bearing system that combines sealed needle bearings with industrial cartridge bearings. This combination protects the internal moving parts against the ingress of water, dust, and dirt, which is essential for maintaining performance in all weather conditions. The robust construction also means that the pedals are approved for a maximum system weight of up to 120 kg, which includes the cyclist, clothing, and any equipment.

How can you adjust the resistance in these clipless pedals?

One of the major technical advantages of the ACID CLICK ROAD P30 pedals is the built-in option to adjust the spring tension in the click mechanism. On the back of each pedal, you will find a dedicated adjustment screw clearly marked with plus and minus icons. This feature allows each individual rider to customize how much force is required to clip into the pedal and, most importantly, how easy it should be to clip out again. For beginners who may be unsure about being locked to the bike, the tension can be loosened so that releasing requires a minimal twist of the foot. For more experienced riders or riders participating in sprints and races, the tension can be increased to ensure that the foot remains securely locked even under extreme load. In addition to the mechanical adjustment, the total weight of just 278 grams per pair contributes to a lighter riding experience, as the reduced rotating mass makes it easier to accelerate the bike. The black finish gives the pedals a timeless and professional appearance that complements any road bike. By combining personal adjustability with the lightweight construction and the included 4.5-degree float cleats, the cyclist receives a product that can be tailored precisely to their individual needs and experience level, ultimately leading to a safer and more comfortable cycling experience on the road.
