When every second counts, it is the small details that make the difference, and these grips are created to eliminate turbulence at the rider's hands. By combining advanced ergonomics with a smooth integration of gear components, Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2 allow the rider to maintain an aggressive position for longer without compromising comfort or control over the bike.

Who should choose these advanced aerodynamic grips?

This product is specifically developed for the dedicated cyclist focusing on time trials and triathlons. Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2 are designed for those who have already invested in a high-end setup and are now seeking the final marginal gains found in the cockpit area. Whether you are a professional athlete fighting for podium places or a serious amateur wanting to optimize your personal record, these grips will give you the necessary technical advantage. It is equipment for the rider who understands the importance of ergonomic stability when the pulse is high and focus is directed at the road ahead.

Application and optimization with Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2

In practice, Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2 are used on the tips of your aero extensions. They are typically mounted as a replacement for standard grips or handlebar tape, creating a far more integrated and streamlined surface. During competition use, where the rider spends the majority of the time in the bars, the grips function as the primary contact surface. The ergonomic design is created to fill the palm, which reduces muscle tension in the forearms. This is particularly ideal in situations where you need to change gears quickly and precisely without changing your aerodynamic profile, as Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2 are prepared for modern electronic gear buttons.

Value creation and top-class technical advantages

Why choose this specific product? The answer lies in the combination of material expertise and aerodynamic knowledge from Simon Smart and the team behind Drag2Zero. By choosing Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2, you get a product that not only looks professional but actually reduces drag. The textured surface, as seen in the visual details, ensures that your hands do not slip, even if they are wet with sweat or rain. This significantly increases safety during technical sections or at high speed. Compared to traditional solutions, Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2 provide a more stable base for your hands, which directly translates to better power transfer and less wasted energy on correcting your position.

Technology integration in your triathlon cockpit equipment

One of the most prominent features of this triathlon cockpit equipment is the ability to house gear shifters internally. As evident from the design, there are dedicated spots for buttons, meaning cables and components do not stick out into the airflow. This type of integration is essential for achieving a fully optimized front profile on the bike. By upgrading to Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2, you ensure that your cockpit does not just function as a control unit, but as an active part of your aerodynamic strategy. The durability of the materials also means that the grips can withstand many hours on the indoor trainer as well as the harsh conditions on the road.

Specifications for Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2

Below are the technical details that make this product unique:

Material: High-density composite plastic with a rubberized grip surface for maximum durability.

Compatibility: Optimized for electronic gear systems (e.g., SRAM Blips and similar technologies).

Surface: Non-slip micro-texture (dimpled surface) for increased friction and control.

Mounting: Secure bolt-on mounting with precision screws to avoid rotation during use.

Design: Second generation (Gen 2) with improved curvature based on extensive wind tunnel testing.

Weight: Lightweight construction that minimizes the total weight on the bike's front end.

Finally, it is clear that for any rider wanting to perfect their setup, Drag2Zero Grips Gen 2 is the ultimate choice.
